I needed to sketch something for the dual purpose of warming up and also practicing my shading/practice in general.

I absolutely adore Nightfuries (who doesn't adore cat/axolotl dragons that spit plasma?), and Jamie-the-Luxray-95 has been being a real sweetheart so I decided to try and surprise them with their Nightfury 'sona! (hoping they like it)

Over all, I am super pleased with this. It's a bit messy, but sometimes that's just what I need to do in order to feel relaxed so I can tackle my current workload/just sit back and enjoy creating something (not that I don't enjoy my work when it's a commission or a request, but sometimes you've gotta take time for yourself, right?)
