Meet Larissa! I don't think she saw you come in, but she's more than happy to meet you! <3
Larissa is a Jellysquish, which is what her mom, Melody, is! Melody can be found here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17577224/ but Larissa can be found in her own private tank! She's a week old in this picture, born in a little purple ball of nutrients that was her egg home for until she broke out and suckered onto the floor of her tank. She's about the size of a person's hand, that's really small! =O
Larissa enjoys meeting new people and greeting visitors by smooshing her face against the glass and looking all happy. <3 Her tentacles are super long. They should be sticking straight up in typical polyp fashion, but they're too long and heavy for them to stay up like that! As a result, you can easily miss her when she's asleep, since they cover her entire body and make her look like a purple wibbly-woo in the center of her tank.
You may have noticed her eyes are rainbow. =O This is because of her daddy! He's a Rainbow Phoenix of the Phoenix Kingdom! No pictures of him, sadly, but let's just say Melody warmed up and old bird's heart and.... Well, she married him a year AFTER Larissa was born. Oops. ^^; Rainbow Phoenixes are able to see into and manipulate the souls of others, which also allows them to manipulate the bodies that are built around the soul. Now, I'm not saying Larissa's going to be doing much manipulating, even when she grows up! But when she gets older, she'll be able to use those beautiful rainbow eyes to see the souls of others, and diagnose any problems they might be having with them! ^3^
But none of that bothers her, she's just happy to see you stop by! ^3^ So leave a comment below to let her know you've been to see her! As you can see, she doesn't always see things right away. X3c
