This Brochure is issued by the "Selective Service System"
It's regulations read that Men age of 18-25 must register in case of a draft issued by the US Government. In case of a war or national emergency...

That's the thing... in the book it reads...
"The fact that a man is required to register does not mean that he will be drafted. No one has been drafted since 1973. No one can be drafted into the military unless ordered by the Congress and the President. A draft would most likely occur only in the event of a war or national emergency."
