Nope, I did ask her, and he is not from the California city located in the Central Valley. Initially, I thought he was a wolf, but I'm HALF right-a wolf-corgi mix-worgi! Initially I thought it was a SHE, but wrong gender as the name seems to be feminine despite that it would be "Modesta" or "Modeste" in a Romance language for feminine names. He's all male!
I have never seen corgis in RL be black or close to black, but here we have one fur that can show that it can be possible in the future...
