[ It had been a long day. Correction: a VERY long day. Between dealing with the daily strain of work and people and everything else that threatened to turn her into even more of a hermit, she was ready to call it a day. She flopped down gracelessly in front of her television, the only thing she'd managed to get set up in her new apartment save for the coffee machine. A long sigh left her and she leaned back on her arms, stretching her legs to relieve the ache that persisted in them from too much lifting and not enough exercise. She really needed to start running again. There was a subtle pop, a shimmer to the air and then a heavy weight settled into her lap, startling a little gasp from her lips. Sans. A thick flush of red decorated her cheeks as she stared down at the smug looking skeleton that winked up at her. Her cheeky new neighbor had been "popping" up everywhere ever since they'd met a a few months ago and they had settled into this playful, somewhat flirty friendship that had little butterflies skittering along her insides.
"Knock Knock," He droned in his deep, musical voice and she smirked with a raised eyebrow.
"Who's there?" She played along.
"Lena," He answered, settling in a little more comfortably in place, looking positively smug. Cheeky. She scrunched her face in mild confusion as she tried to figure out where he was going with this.
"Lena who?" The human prodded, continuing the joke.
"Lena little closer and I'll tell you," He dared her in a tone that dipped into something suggestive and sinful and that had the young woman blushing darkly. Warmth tickled down her spine as she debated the pros and cons, not fully trusting the skeleton prankster to not do something rotten like giving her a wet willy or a pie to the face. ]
*u* couldn't help myself. Sans cuteness. I'm a dirty sinner. I accept the mantle happily. Sorry. >P Still streaming!
