The Protectors - Peter and Paul
Boy, I sure hope this artwork won't get me into prison...
Well, guess I'm forced to reveal a part of myself that I strongly dislike talking about. I live in ... *vomits a bit in his mouth* Po...land... UGH! Specifically in ... Poznań. In the past, two friends have visited me here, and both times I had a set route with places to show to my friends, including the old city hall, which is noteworthy for featuring 2 mechanical goats that butt heads each day at noon. Nowadays such displays might seem underwhelming, but it is a significant thing in our city.
Last time it was YamiPanther who visited me, and I mentioned, that in the past I had originally planned a LOT more characters for my comic than those few present so far. They are likely to never appear, since the cast seems huge as it is....... among Raphel's gaming buddies, Joseph's hospital friends, Steve's comedy troupe, Voren's law firm colleagues and Allistair's repair shop crew, there was Peter and Paul, named after the 2 saints that are the patrons on Poznań, 2 goat superheroes who fight crime.
I thought that even if the idea is scrapped, I could still draw one picture, but wasn't sure.... Yami insisted that I do it, and now it's finished! .... over 9 months after me making the promise..... oh well, better late than never!
Hope everybody enjoys, and soon enough I'll be able to move out of here. GOOD NIGHT!

Why thank you, they do make you for a neat visual effect. I don't see them being used that often... well aside from promotional material for Pyrkon, a local fantasy convention:

I admit, things are a bit complicated.
I was born in Poland and been living here since forever. I learned German and English, and these languages were constantly associated with positive emotions, because ... I didn't really have friends, things were really "mah" for me, foreign languages at school were the only things where I did not need to learn, and yet got better scores than at anything else.
Plus, watching cartoons in this language, or being online, using those languages, that was fun, that was positive, that was when life was fine.
Then I went for university, things got screwed up, and I was kicked out. Then I visited a friend in Germany, seen him live alone, have a room full of gadgets, stuff, collectibles, plus all the privacy he had.... I really admired that, and that's how I received a new goal: Move out of home, preferably to Germany. That was like 8 years ago, and i keep trying...
All this time, my head pushes the idea:
-Poland is bad, the people here are annoying, I don't want to live here
-Germany is good, I have friends there, I want to live there
I am aware that all of this is pretty silly and things are definitely not so purely black and white, but even so.... it just stuck with me for years, so I really avoid Poland on the internet whenever possible. I don't want to really advertise it. It is a tick of mine, and I'm not dying that it's silly.

That is probably it. I'm not happy, so an alternative has to be better, although then there's the ton of Germans who are always surprised hearing about my dream, cause in their eyes, Germany is an awful AWFUL place.
