"Groundhog Day, 2016"

The first month of 2016 is over, and already we've had a lot of record-setting weather. In addition to the Eastern Seaboard having the worst blizzard in generations - a.k.a. "Winter Storm Jonas" - due to El Niño, most of the state of Florida had the "wettest January on record"!
And now that it's February 2, 2016, we're all going to see how the rest of this Winter turns out, when we have to rely on a furry prognosticator like 'Punxatawney Phil' in Pennsylvania on Groundhog Day.
Over the years, I'd done my own take on the annual event by drawing my own groundhog character 'Pennsyltucky Paul' - who makes (without a doubt) the worst weather predictions in the world. This year, even 'Rob Cat' and 'Donovan Lupus' are fed up with Paul's incorrect accusations. Luckily, the chubby rodent has an escape plan, to avoid the masses who want to welcome him with open arms... AK-47s, .357 magnums, Saturday Night Specials, and other weapons!
