Around the Frontier Worlds there are a small band of Intergalactic Peddlers who sell everything from Surplus parts to wonder elixirs that can cure everything from Mange to Radiation poisoning. Here, Professor Freep tries to sell his tonics to a group of hardened Lycalli Miners before the local Constabulary closes in.

I'm not familiar with the individual names, BUT I am a huge fan of that era whenever I can find stuff from it. I'm big into pulp, sword & sorcery kinda material and the art it inspired. Seeing your work here makes me really wanna push my traditional work beyond sketchbook pages and into more busy and story-detailed finished illustrations.
Wow thanks man! That's super motivating for me to hear from someone who's been in the art game for so long. Actually, did you have any work that appeared in Furrlough or Huzzah back in the day?
I remember reading some old back issues as a teen in the 00's and really being taken in by the high-adventure/action themes in the zines. Some of your work feels familiar from that period.

Ahem! Yes. I submitted art and comics to Furrlough and Hazzah! back in the 1990s, through to the early 2000s. I'm pleased to read that you at least got to see my works when I was in what I consider my "Elvis Years." To tell you the truth, I really miss being in "The Comics game."
I KNEW IT. I'll have to see if I can find any of your old pieces I surely looked over.
Comics are still great, I love making them. Been working on a graphic novel I'm hoping to finish in spring. But it's... really, really hard to make livable income from in these days. Still, it's the most rewarding form of storycraft in my opinion. Not as punishing and labor intensive as animation, but more cinematic than a pure text novel.
