Back to the short-haired Mina, welp. Anyways, here she is in all her jaw-missing glory.
She was an experiment by an organization that went by the name of Alchemech; you can kinda guess what they specialized in. Anywho, the creature that has come to be known as Mina was built up as the biomechanical host for the alchemic copy of Ravencroft chromosomes. It's pretty silly when you consider that with what you see of Lara and Aral Ravencroft, being as loud and goofy as they are, but this procedure of copying DNA was in reference to previous members of the Ravencroft family.
The Ravencrofts date back quite a number of centuries ago, perhaps before the Renaissance, with their former clans established throughout Scandinavia. They were bizarrely pious, to say the least--their superstitious beliefs led them to think that consuming the blood of others would sustain youth and grant unimaginable powers. You could say they were like vampires. In a way, these families managed to live on for an extremely longer period than most humans; they were banned from public societies for being "freaks" or "unholy." The Ravencrofts, in a nutshell, were not ordinary human beings, but were somehow just as mortal as they could be killed by men.
Years went on, and a number of Ravencrofts were either executed or lost in the midst of reality without blood to sustain them. Others bred with other humans and produced offspring that did not sustain youth forever. These would move on till current day, seeing as how we've got Lara and Aral Ravencroft. Mina, however, was an attempted copy of one of the more recent "demigods" of the Ravencroft family. Alchemech sought to use direct DNA to create the "perfect human" in hopes to potentially generate a godlike army. It was Alchemech's founder, a mysterious figure who seemingly possessed ties with the Ravencroft family but who also looked to achieve petty revenge for his own lack of immortality--the reason for his current existence is constant abuse of alchemy and what was left of the Ravencroft tomes.
Essentially, Mina was ideally the final prototype for the "new era" of Ravencrofts, and was adopted by one of Alchemech's ex-researchers to protect her from her ultimate abuse and lackluster purpose in life.
To expand a bit more on the character itself, Mina is not quite a robot, as she is sentient and possesses a free will. Her body is the rough equivalent to that of any humanoid frame (minus the sharp teeth and blue tongue based off Ravencroft anatomy), except made up of black and gray "copy fibers." She is part machine, and has the odd capability of physically downloading and uploading data from and to her body through USBs on her upper and lower spine (her tail is basically a male USB cord, hahaha). This grants her vast learning skills and seemingly infinite knowledge, although she struggles to find humor relevant to any situation in her life. Aside from accessing simpler file types used in most computers, she is able to encode her own textures, so to speak, and thus maintain her appearance as a Ravencroft. She can't deviate too much from her primary design here, otherwise her body will fight back and cause her to physically "crash."

I knew she had an elaborate back history and her design although sometime monstrous is still beautiful in its self...well done design again her eyes have that spark hmm the tongue does seem to fit the body type effectively it should stay blue...unless she of course deviates forms and the color should match the form...all and all a most excellent design kane!
