Quite a radical 180 from my usual music pursuits, but I was bored and just started messing around with Kontakt a bit. Kontakt is a big VST and sampler used in any DAW, (Digital Audio Workstation) i.e. Cubase orProSlowtools, for those who didn't know.
It's some noise patch, a big boom and a pad of some sort, I don't remember the patch names off hand. Just a bunch of general dicking around, but I suppose there's some structure to it. I thought it sounded cool/creepy enough to post. Something different.
Best listened to with a sub for the rumble parts. It shakes my place, I love it.

Ya I entertained the idea of making this an intro to something. Perhaps one day when I've cleared my plate of all the songs I've got going, (my stuff: about 15, maybe as many as 20 with all the little riffs that haven't been used yet. The bands: only two, but no editing done yet, so lots of work to do just with those two).
Ya, the bass was a quick addition at the end of messing around. Found some big, low end sample popped it in a couple of times for good measure. Insta bass. The pads created some, but not enough, I wanted boom.
