There's not much of a hierarchy, we're more friends than commander and soldier
Strict hierarchy is for boot camp
I guess it's like that only because service is mandatory
I used to play fight with my previous commanders, we playfully curse eachother and stuff, was even training with a commander I hate in some course, I always went with him for Krav Maga training and went all out, he was terrified of me but the guide insisted we practice together

Strict hiearchy is in all norwegian camps. I like it and I wouldn't prefer our officers to be different.
It was overwhelming at first, but then again I would do EVERYTHING to see them smile (satisfy them). It made me really wanna to my best. Since they could be very happy and friendly once you did well. I don't think they should be like your parents or friends, since they need to distance from relations.
But then again, it's a good thing we're different. I'm not in your country.

Interesting. May I ask why you picked an italian soldier specifically? It's a curious choice. Also, how did a norwegian and an italian get mixed together in the first place anyway? They on some international mission or something? Like Afghanistan and stuff? I hope I'm not being a bother with my incessant questions lol. Feel free not to answer them if you don't feel like it, I won't mind
