Japanese 2? HA! Slept through that on my second try around. Not even the fluent speakers had shit on me. I thrashed that class silly. :P I only failed my first time around though due to unforseen personal happenstances. -_-;

Ok. Get this: In my japanese 3 class, everyone cheats. No joke. Since our teacher is batshit insane at times and overloads us with work and projects and gives us very little time to do them all, we all cheat. XD

my "teacher" so to speak, told me that yelling "yakamashii" was another way of saying shut up, but in the literal sense, no, your not noisy

i also learned other basic phrases too,

i can only pick out certain key words and phrases....

and i can't even READ the kanji, hiragana or katakana!!!!! well....i recognize some of it...

and then there's pronunciation, which i have NO problem with...YAY FOR BEING LITERATE!!!! X3

Congrats on trying to learn another language. The only non-english language I even semi-know is German.

Und mien Grammitk ist sehr schlect. (Loosely translated it means " and my grammar is very very awful" only, with worse grammar)

I'm surprised I even remember how to say that.

German is actually pretty simple... most words are what they sound like in english, and you can moosh almost any two nouns together to make a whole new (and completely real) word. Like Laderhosen directly translated means "leather pants".
