The only downside to the whole suit setup is it turns out the armored tail will have to totally replace the regular tail. Meaning I'll be able to strip out of the armor and have the fursuit beneath, except for the tail, which would remain 'armored'. Alas a minor limitation of the setup. I hope to some day find a better solution to it, but for now I'll take what I can get.

Thanks. The armor wont have any of the detailing. Liz tossed that in and while it's not bad it's not quite the kinda design I'd want. Hell I may not even want it, so at least initially it hsould be more or less solid black armor. I'll have to see how the whole thing turns out before I decide what all to do with it.

Shades of Master Chief, not that's an entirely bad thing; Master Chief had some pretty plausible armor.

Master chiefs armor is merely shades of Sci-Fi armor developed long before the game was even a concept.

It's just abit of a pet peeve of mine that everyone instantly thinks 'halo' these days just cause it's got that high tech sleek look that armor in sci-fi has had for about 10-15 years now.

True, Starship Troopers (one of the incarnations at least) did beat him to it. The benefit of sci-fi authors finally designing armor that looks like armor instead of wacky outfits.

To an extent Star-Wars beat him to it as well. This particular design sheet has more in common with ST armour than the Halo suit. The only difference really is the helmet design.

I'm not actually certain how the helmet will turn out due to limitations in the design of the head and the actual vision available.
