Ok well I started this drawing back in November of 2015 and just now got it all done. I had to put it on the back-burner to get all the requested work that everyone wanted me to do done. Although I do enjoy drawing those requests I'm not going to lie, it was and is rather refreshing to draw something personal for myself once more; my two characters~
Anyway, here it is! And I must say I wish I had a computer like that, or hell even that desk! You all should see what my work station looks like.... It's just a Macbook Pro on a small writing table in the corner lmao!
Lastly, it's amazing to me that not too many people use Sketchbook - I did this ALL on Sketchbook Pro 7~ It's a very underrated program I see here on FA.

Yes indeed! Believe it or not Sketchbook was my very first program I ever used when I got introduced into the digital world. Oddly enough it was rather by accident - I had to fix my friend's girlfriend's tablet and while testing it, I was fooling around with everything with a free version of Sketchbook. Long story short, I since then upgraded to a paid version of the program which is invaluable to me now.
I tell people I use Sketchbook, and they all usually give me a "surprised" response thinking I should be using Photoshop or whatever regardless how crappy my garbage may be. Nope, in return however I just explain that while those programs are indeed powerful and can do a lot more than Sketchbook can, it's still a VERY powerful program. It's clean, simple, and customizable, so for me it works. I don't do any photo editing or whatever so Photoshop for example would be a waste of money to me. Although, like everyone else each person has their own preferences and what they like is what they like lol
Sorry I know I tend to write a lot and go in circles with responses to you..

Mathue nods.
While I don't use the software myself, I know several that do.
I had wondered since my understanding was Sketchbook has more 'ready tools' for layout and perspective, something that photo-manupulation software tends to bury. And since perspective is quite important to your drawing style it seemed a natural for you to be using it.

Mathue chuckles.
I don't mind answers that are circuitous, nor verbose ones. As a rule it is my preference actually. Not surprisingly I tend to be overly verbose myself when I respond online.

D00d!
Good god the detail you put into your works! The pen nibble, the glossy reflective desktop, the starburst effect of the streetlight outside, your reflection in the mirror, the raccoon tail on that hanging wireframe art.. your scenes are just so involving. It takes a few minutes to find all the little subtle and hidden treats! :3
A definite favourite!

Jeez bud your responses always put a smile on my face for real! I'm glad you had the chance to see all the crap I put into this haha especially what is outside the window. Unfortunately however, the blinds cover up most of it but oh well~ I just wish I had the desk IRL from this picture, let alone that Mac to draw on!
