Sketched, inked, and color in Graphic on iPad Pro.
Short list of things Graphic could be doing better.
Palm rejection palm rejection palm rejection and did I mention palm rejection?
I need some thicker fingerless gloves I guess. This is my number one complaint. There's nothing more maddening than accidentally selecting or drawing somewhere else on your work and not seeing it until later.
Making the palm rejection issue worse is that the select tool is by order and area. Meaning if you make a blemish and then notice it later, you might have a tough time actually selecting the artifact to remove it. Edge select would be amazing!
Smaller things:
Select by same (line/fill type/color) in Illustrator is a darned great tool. Not essential but really helpful at times.
Center point/range for gradient is also a really nice feature.
Stretch/rotate. These two controls in the UI seem like they could go away. The other drawing applications I've worked with so far let you use two-finger gestures to twist/stretch. I guess having a precise rotate and scale is useful but those extra mouse-clicks add up.
Lock layer doesn't actually seem to work. Though I've noticed this also doesn't work in ArtRage. Kind of weird.
Output to photo pixel dimensions display would be handy. I like to work large but am usually publishing to the web.
Crop Area. Non-essential. Photoshop elements is free and does this job.
More undo! (Is there ever enough undo buffer?)
Erase for fills just breaks the lines and makes blobby messes. This wouldn't be an issue except that I tend to do linework on one layer and then go to a lower layer and underpaint. When I do the underpainting, I frequently turn down the smoothing on the line. If i draw outside the lines a bit, I have to move dozens of points or undo and start over or give up and use the pen tool.
Can haz Save button? The only way I've found to save is by going back to the gallery. I presume it's doing autosaves now and then and so far the application hasn't crashed on me but due to the lack of palm reject, I have wanted to restore from a previous save a few times.
Product now owned by Autodesk. As of yet, this is not a problem but I expect to see the price go up and the support go down as has happened with most of the other software I've owned that was purchased by Autodesk.
