Thnx! Oh ya. All of the wheels are all heavy die cast steel including the front set. Nothing more fun than a vintage 4-6-0 steam engine eh? The main door on the front of a real steam locomotive that opens to the boiler, opens on this as well. It exposes a couple of switches. One of which activates the stack so you can put oil in to make it puff. :3

I don't know the actual weight of it. But to me the thing feels like it's gotta way about 5 or 6lbs. She's pretty hefty for a model train. You should go on to Bachmann's site some time. they have a high end line of trains where just the engine or one car goes for about $600. x.x

Way too expensive for me. but they're beautiful.
