I remember I had BIG plans for the rest of this series. Neopets, All Dogs Go to Heaven, Oliver and Company, and even Pound Puppies were set to join the cast!

The next arc would've dealt with a phenomenon where the past events of Red Kryptonite would manifest into physical, sentient beings.

Er... let me explain that better. Short and sweet: remember those episodes where Krypto touched Red Kryptonite? Imagine all those versions of Krypto coming to life and being led by the amnesiac Krypto, Spike.

SUMMARY: K-9 Unit was my idea for a Superhero story series. It was a huge crossover with my favorite animal-related medias at the time, including Balto and Krypto the Superdog (the 2005 animated series). The story follows orphaned Ace Retriever as he gets recruited for the Super Powered Animals of the Universe, a platoon of, well, super-powered animals that are gathered to fight crime throughout the galaxy.
