Quasi the Eastern Water Dragon
This was a super old suit of mine, finished even before I started going to conventions. I wasn't gonna post much of my older work on this account, but I still have a soft spot for this guy even if he's not the greatest suit in the world.
For those of you wondering, because everyone tends to ask, the fur I used on him was a local find, so I'm sorry to inform you, I cannot get anymore! If you're lucky though, you might be able to find some at Hancock Fabrics, which is where I found it originally. Also, for the record, while Joann's fabrics seems to constantly get in awful quality furs, Hancock CAN be slightly better, just be sure to know your fur qualities. I have found very decent, to very nice furs at Hancock. I have never found any at Joann's. But I thought I'd say that, because I hear a lot of people saying Hancock's "sucks". It only sucks if you don't know what you're looking for!

I made the Argonian for the same reason to be honest. I didn't plan on making an Argonian until after I saw that fur. Before it was gonna be a dragon with fish scales made of large sequin like materials.
Yeah, I think I have like a yard left, might be less. I don't remember as it is in storage with the Argonian head.

Ah, yeah that's my owl gryphon suit as well. Got her in a suitcase in storage until I can use her again. I plan on redoing the bodysuit whenever I get the time, space and money to do so. Might even redo the head (the beak is falling off) and add to the wings (to make it slightly longer).

Right? I hate doing furry dragons and stuff, because that's all we really have to work with. Don't get me wrong, furry dragons are adorable, but when you're doing a realistic one it just doesn't look right. And there's fleece, but it's so hard to work with, what with the seams and all that. I mean it's possible, but difficult as all hell and takes quite a bit of time.
Yeah! That's what I was going to do for my raven. I wanted to try and make silicone arms for her, but if that doesn't work out or I don't have time or something, I was going to do fleece and attach sort of scales on them, like birds have on their feet, using more fleece. But hell yeah that would take forever for a dragon :'|
