Oooh yah, this is true. XD I put that in for search/browse tags, here and on DA, Weasyl, etc. ^^
Also, as an aside, I've had a /lot/ of folks actually getting really nasty toward me in regard to assuming that all of my characters/suits are fursonas. While I have nothing against folks who have multiple fursonas, Muzafr is my only sona-sona - my characters and suits are just that, characters.
I've really been trying to nip the assumptions in the tail due to the negativity, which is totally false and uncalled for. Hence why I'm pretty quick to correct folks who assume such. ^^

Makes sense, though. It's understandable as I have had people assume my one character is me to the point I just adopted him as my "FurAffinitysona" because there was no use trying to prevent the confusion. But I can see why you'd not like the association, as different characters mean something different to each person. It's a delicate thing.

Lol. XD I think it does help on places like DA, Weasyl, & Tumblr for folks who are just like, looking for furry stuff and will search generic tags like that. And I'm also lazy and tend to copy-paste tags when I post things, so I just leave 'em in for time's sake.

Yikes, what sorta negative comments do people make about having multiple sonas/certain characters as sonas? That's so crazy to think folks can actually attack you over it. That's so disappointing and crazy. Like, of all the things to get on someone's case about... that's it?
I've been told the gambit from, 'Weird,' 'Gross,' 'Desperate for *insert anything here,*' '...Could never do that to myself, '...I connect to MY character TOO MUCH to ever do something like THAT to them,' the high-and-mighty '...My character actually represents parts of me and isn't RANDOM,' to 'Borderline personality.'
All done in a typically insulting, actually elitist tone, which I just don't understand. And when I correct them, it's usually with a snide, 'Whatever,' or personal favourite, 'Whatever floats your boat.' I'm thinking, dude, I just explained it to you. Your assumption was wrong. I don't know where the attitude comes from.

I can't say I have ever ran into those comments, and I truly hope I never do. That really is a shame folks can be that way, but it doesn't surprise me, I suppose. It just sucks when you see abundant examples of it for something so mundane. Just let folks do what they want with their own fictional characters. Multi-sonas or single sonas they are nobody's business but your own and what is done with them harms nobody (generally speaking). Sorry you had to go through all that nonsense. If I had to take a guess, it's the "being behind a screen" mentality where they figure they can say just about anything and they can never be wrong as long as they don't have to confront anyone face-to-face. xD
