Malk has two mutations; Double ears and unmatching hair and eyes.
Malk was basically shunned by the species, as he had "undesirable" traits. Not many took the time to get to know Malk. Cookie, being the kind spirited Angel Ear she is, made it her mission to make sure Malk felt accepted. She never expected to fall in love with him.
