Specimen 23: Mycon
World of Origin: Unknown

An artificially created terraforming organism the Mycon were created by the Progenitors in order to terraform planets into habitable worlds for their genetic engineering experiments. After the disappearance of the Progenitors, the Mycon degenerated into a pseudo religious state in which they spread their progeny to inhabited planets and turn them into hellish volcano worlds capable of sustaining Mycon breeding. Once the offspring become old enough they are forcefully implanted with the memories of ancestral Mycon. This process is far from perfect and has been going on for so long that all Mycon are completely senile and insane by the standards of any other race, this does not stop them from being one of the greatest threats to biodiversity in the multiverse.
