Okay, so... Story time! Tis kind of a long one, but you don't have to read it if you don't want to. It mostly serves as some backstory and explanation behind an earlier picture here. http://www.furaffinity.net/view/18567882/
About a good 6-7 months ago, I was doing some RP with a group of friends. From a series of silly jokes, it had become 'canon' for Natasha to be able to eat people, although she was always incredibly wary of doing it and reserved it mostly as a last resort sort of defense since she was a fighter. The idea popped in my head for a 'what if' scenario where Natasha was actually royalty, and used her voracious appetite to deal with anyone dumb enough to get put in her dungeons or servants who had been particularly annoying or bad. The whole thing was a pretty big success, given the kind of character Natasha is (everyone kind of knew her like an adoptive mother), it soon when from one thread to two, then four, and a whole joke story-arc of sorts was made.
Now, besides the fact that she convinced some of her other friends to eat the separatists trying to kill her, it was generally a very silly and care-free RP that kind of revolved around Natasha being a gentle, beloved queen who would just eat anyone who tried to cause trouble. The idea caught so much traction with my friends that they actually started asking me if I would make the idea of her being royalty 'canon' as well. Eventually I actually did, although the catch being that she never knew she was the last heir to her throne, having been sent away to survive a civil war in the now far-away and forgotten kingdom. As such, she grew up an orphan and never knew about her family, the kingdom, or anything like that; it's only much later in her life that she is found and is shown that she is in fact the heir to the throne; if any of you played Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, it should sound kind of similar. After having some time to adjust to the knew information and her role as a princess/queen, she begins to take advantage of the situation and literally gorge herself to her hearts content, since she could technically just eat anyone who dared judge her for it.
Naturally, as royalty, it quickly would become normal to see her toting around a massive gut on a regular basis, and there was a point where she gave her friends who had helped her gifts, most of which involved some sort of food or drink that fattened them up (she's a silly kitty). Now, after a series of silly jokes and 'what ifs', Natasha now officially has a story as an orphaned feline who is the sole surviving heir to a far-away kingdom. Who'da thunk it?
"Yes, set the roast down right there; thank you for bringing me my twelfth course, dearie."
