It was a normal night as always, I was getting ready to go to work but my phone began to ring, I looked over to it thinking it was my boss, he probably was angry with me after I failed to bring back the suspect alive. I looked to see is wasn't the boss but it was somebody important, I picked it up and heard a giggly girl on the other end. "Speak to me baby girl?" I smiled to heard Sammy, headquarter's best hacker reply, "We had gotten a call of a missing girl, I'm sending the info to you laptop now." I held the phone with my shoulder and picked up my slim laptop to see it was downloading the information.

"Got it gorgeous, over." As the phone clicked a photo began to upload along with the name and other information, the girl was only 19, she had beautiful dark brown eyes with freckles, her hair was a very dark grey with red ends and she was absolutely stunning. As a FBI Agent I have seen a few cases like these and some don't have happy ending. My phone buzzed again as, I looked to see the boss calling.

"Sup Boss."

"Don't fucking 'sup boss' me! You better make sure your shit is straight or due you'd be fired on the fucking spot!

"Calm down, I'm going on another mission now."

The boss let out a snort of disgust before hissing, "Like hell you are! I wouldn't put you on another mission if my life were depended on it! I'm sending it to Ari and you can go handle a something easier like," he paused for a moment , "There have been a gang hanging about and I want you to find their leader, I'll get Sammy to send you their coordinate and if you screw this up, your through!" The phone clicked and I rolled my eyes before looking at my new mission, I mumble seeing that it was a male only gang but I knew this would be easy.

I looked at the two thugs hanging about outside the abandoned motel and I knew that this was the place but I couldn't just walk up to them asking to speak instead I began searching for a secret route and just my luck! There was an unattended entrance that I went into, it was ominously dark, the moon outside was my only light source as I walked farther into the room I heard the sound of click and a light came on, I looked around to see that I was surrounded.

"Glad you can join us Agent." A sweet voice said as the men parted to show a girl, she was about 5 ft and she had caramel skin like mine, her black eyes matched her hair and glasses I didn't wanna start assuming and causing another issue, this girl walked up to me and made me face her. "What do you want and why are you here?" She asked with a devilish smirk, I didn't flinch but I did choose my words carefully, "I only wanted to talk, with the leader, is he uh around?" She stepped back and cancelled before snapping, all the males aimed their weapons before she looked over her shoulder and said in a tone that turned me on a bit, "Your lookin at him."

I did flinch before she beckoned me to follow her, as I did the horrid odor filled the air with smoke, I coughed but continued to a room where she knocked on the door, I seen her smirk fade as I heard a low growl from the other side of the door. The door opened letting light creep into the office, behind the desk was a man, he had a cigar in his mouth, a red bandanna was around his head and I knew that he was the Big Don, The Godfather or as everyone called him 'The Boss'.

"Caught him snooping about, what do we do?"

The man was silent, smoke poured from his nose, he looked dead at me and put out his cigar letting smoke drip out of his mouth.

"Why ya here Agent?"

"I was sent on a mission."

"Babes? Maybe we-"

He raised his hand and silenced her as he leaned back and put his feet onto the desk, the girl began to impatiently tap her feet, around her neck was a black spiked choker with a small charm, an 'A'. "Hack the FBI Database." The boss suddenly said as a large wide screen that resided on the wall awoken to a bunch of numbers and coding, weren't these guys scared of being caught, I turned to the boss, his feet were off the table and now he held his head up with a determined glare. What was he looking for?

"Any signs of her?" The boss yelled to the t.v. and a voice replied, "No." The boss began to look at his desk then to the girl. I knew that something was bothering him. "I can help you find this person." I said as the fiery glare he held on me chilled me to the bone. "How can I trust you when you know I'm gonna kill you?" He asked as a sadistic smirk crept onto his face.

"Whoever it is may be missing, so calls will come in."

"A kidnapping won't."

I became shock at the ice that froze his words this person wasn't missing. "That damn girl! I told her to no hang around him! Momo, get your patrol and scout the area! Ray hack every camera and get Avy on the lookout!" The girl hissed at the t.v before a boy's face appeared he had a cocky smirk before he shifted his glasses and said, "I'm already transmitting that to them. We'll find her asap! " the television blanked out and I turned to the boss, he sneered before glaring at me, he let out a sigh before he slid me a file. I picked it up and opened it.

"That's my sister, she was kidnapped by our rival gang, get her and keep her safe. I didn't want this to happen.... I didn't know they knew who she was, I didn't even know she was being followed.....But she was being followed, stalked and now I fear she'd be killed if you don't hurry."

His voice didn't tremble but his eyes held a troubled look, I gave him a nod before he said something, "Remember if you fail, I will kill you Agent Hikaru, I know your address and everything about you, my whole gang will kill you mercilessly if you fail to get this girl back, and when you retrieve her, keep her hidden. Now get out of my sight." The girl put a pistol to my head, she held a death glare and her boyfriend, the boss nodded.

I paced my house reading the files, this girl, she barely had any background at all, no shot records, no school records only her age and name. Why?

"Akashiyah...." I murmured looking at her picture, I could see her, chained away from the outside, I sighed before my laptop clicked on to Ray, the gang's hacker.

"The boss told us not to help but I don't really listen to him," he chuckled, "I've found something about a girl, they are sending out pictures and I seen that it's Miri, Seems like they are gonna sell her to the highest bidder, go crash the party or," he stopped talking and his hazel glare burned into me, "I'll crush your fucking face! No pressure!"

The laptop went blank and I seen that Ray sent the coordinates, I clicked it to see the map to the place, I sighed knowing that this will be regretted.

I sat in the crowd of horny old men and women as they presented the slaves they caught, the crowd was full of rich wannabes but when they presented Miri I heard the savage growls of the girl as she spat in a different language, nothing I ever heard of.

I sat there staring as she stood in the corner glaring at me, her hazel eyes showed hate, her brown shin were covered in bruises and from the look of her she was filthy.

She fell silent but she didn't stop glaring, I looked at her ripped clothing and wished she'd relax. "What language was that?"

She didn't reply. I sighed before getting up to go to run her a bath, I put bubbles and herbs in the water, the water turned a clear pink, I left the bathroom to see Miri sniffing the kitchen, for a human, she acted strange, she looked at me and backed into a corner again.

"Why are you afraid?"

"I'm not."

"Then talk to me."

This will be difficult, I looked into the freezer pulling out ice cream, immediately I had her attention. "You want this?" I asked but I knew that she'd refused but I slid it to her and returned to the bathroom, the air filled with steam and the scent of Cherry Blossoms, I stopped the water and turned to see Miri, peeking at me, she eyes focus on the water.

"I'll get out." I backed out and closed the door, something about her made my heart skip. I heard the water splash followed by a sigh of relief, I went over to the couch and told Ray I got her, I then began to search up Ray, I got a bio of a boy named Ray Oshitska, he died after birth, then I seen the names their boss's girlfriend mentioned the same happened to them and many more. I found it bizarre that this happened.

The door open and Miri peeked out, she hissed, "go buy me clothes!" With that the door slammed shut.

I blinked back the brightness to see Miri in front of the T.v. watching a animated movie, I didn't wanna make any sudden moves, Miri was a bit wild like a animal so I didn't disturb her, she began to bounce a bit till I smiled. I leaned against the wall smiling as the small pink light of dawn gushed into the room, lighting her, as the wore a white feathery dress, her dark grey hair streaked down her back and onto the bed, I backed out of the room and returned to clean my kitchen, the ice cream was obviously gone, so I made pancakes, as I cooked I seen the hazel eyed girl looking at me from around the island counter, her eyes focused on the food and I began to wonder if she ever seen pancakes. "Morning Miri."

"Toroni Aci." She said and I flipped the pancake watching her crouch lower. "Tell me a bit about yourself, I see you love Ice Cream, I promise I'll buy more. I'm Agent Hikaru or call me Omega."

"Omega Hikaru is your name, I will call you T-Bone."

"So Miss Akashiyah, what about you, where are you from?"

I reached over and put the gun down slowly, her eyes began to cloud with tears before leaping over the couch retreating my room where she locked the door. I looked to see Ray on the laptop, he held a sad look. "You know she will come around, I'm only here to see if she is ok but I see that she is a bit scared."

I watched as Cj popped onto the screen, he sighed and said, " Miri is a bit of a handful, please keep her there."

I groaned hearing that, she don't trust me nor do she wanna be here! Why keep here somewhere she hates? "I'm only worried that whomever kidnapped her will come back, last night was a drive by and I fear that next is-" coincidentally loud gunshots went off in Cj's background and the call ended. Was that what I think? Is he ok?!

I went over to my room knocking, I got no reply. "Miri please talk to me." It was again silent so I got my car keys off the coffee table to go buy ice cream and other things.

I got home and asked my neighbors to help with the groceries, the two males were gay and the were absolutely nice, they walked in to see Miri, she looked as they began to smile at me.

"Oh my god she is absolutely adorable!" Samuel exclaim as his boyfriend Iggy nodded. "I would love to have a daughter like her! Your girlfriend is just a cutie." Miri blushed but said nothing, the boys helped me then said there goodbyes, I put the ice cream away to see Miri's plate in the sink, she ate! I smiled to look and see her watching tv, she sat on the floor as the tv flashed.

I unwrapped cookies and placed them on a cooking sheet, I put the oven on 350° then put the cookies in, I went into my room to get some rest before I go to work. I didn't want to but I knew that my boss would blow a fucking gasket. I waited for sleep but it never came, I sighed and smelled the cookies! I went into the kitchen and took them out, I placed them on the stove to see Miri trying to picks one up. I didn't hear her come in nor seen her.

"Wait!" I scolded the girl to see her stop and back away, she glared at me and went into the front room, I began to feel as if she never experienced anything normal in our culture. I went over to see her watching tv again. "Miri?"

She looked at me and my heart skipped. "Be honest, are you from here?" She was again silent.

"Ok I'll ask you a series of questions and I want you to answer honestly."

The girl I was looking at nodded.

"Were you kidnapped?"

She nodded.

"You were drugged am I correct? This morning you thought I was drugging you right?" I asked and she again nodded.

"Do you know who did this if so can you tell me who?" She shook her head and I knew she was lying but I don't think I should pressure her.

"Have you bee sexual assaulted by a law enforcer?" I asked and I knew from the look she was hesitant to answer so I moved on.

"Where are your family?" I asked and she flinched.

"I don't know them." She murmured before I nodded.

"Same, I don't know my parents and I'm glad, they gave me up when I was a younger, I lived in a foster home till I was adopted, when my foster parents died I got millions, but I still miss them."

Miri didn't look at me the same now, she seen something that I've kept a secret, the things that I'll go to my grave know, she now knows. "What about Cj?"

Miri rolled her eyes and mumbled, "He is a Hella bossy, he is always busy to the point I rarely see him, I felt so alone." She was obviously sad and would be crushed to hear about what's been going on.

The room fell silent, the two of us sat without a word, I wish I knew what She was thinking.

I watched Miri devour cookie after cookies, she didn't share with me.... I knew that I was breaking through to her all I need is to know the truth.

My phone began to ring, it was Sammy?

"Hello?"

"Speak Baby girl."

"Where were you!? The boss is going to you house!"

"I've been taking care of business, sorry."

"That won't stop the boss, he is furious!"

"Shit! I'll have to..." I didn't speak after that.

"Call you later." She hung up and I turned to Miri.

"Get dressed! My boss us coming so act civilized! No growling or speaking in a different language! Don't please!"

She blinked before giving a small nod.

I sat as my boss sat next to me, he watched as Miri raided the freezer for the fifth time. "Sorry about her, she has a obsession with Cookies and Cream."

"I'm sure it's just a phase." He said and I seen my give him a quick glance, she rushed back into my room like before, she was scared again. "I'm sorry again boss, my girlfriend is a bit of a ice cream lover." He narrowed his eyes at me and hissed, "she is the reason you were busy?" I nodded and he smirked. "Oh so that's why she's a little sweetheart?"

I blushed and just went along with it, my boss nodded before leaving, I went to the room to see Miri slowly eating the ice cream, she wasn't happy but why?

"Are you ok?" I asked, as she looked up I seen it, I seen her being drugged, I seen her fighting off a unknown man but lastly I seen her, behind her stood a man, he held her shoulders as his eyes glowed red.

I laid on the couch watching Miri, she slept on the floor after watching a horror movie, I pray she don't have a nightmare cause that movie was creepy, I got up and picked her up carrying her into my room where I laid her in my bed, she rolled over and curled up a bit, I put the cover over her and made my way to the closest, I took off my clothes and got ready for work, I looked at my bare chest in the mirror to see the scars that I got from fights, I remembered back in those days where I was once in the same predicament Miri was in, I knew I lied to her, I wish She could only know I was a slave, like her but when I escaped I made sure others followed, many.

Miri sat in a small corner, I did something so stupid; I let her draw on the walls. Miri was strange, what if my boss was right? We went to almost all but the big dogs and cats, when we got to the lion, he had a pelt as golden as the sun, he looked at Miri letting out a small call, I turned to her to see her mouthing something before turning to go see a Jackle. The male Jackle came to the cage looking to her, but the staff were to busy to see Miri reach over to pet him.

I followed her to the Lynx cage where one blinked at her before brushing against the bars of the cage, Miri made it to the wolf cage, there I seen a pelt of snow growling at the Staff as he spoke, "This wolf is highly aggressive, he was feral and there's suppose to be another but he-"

"Oh no he escaped!" Miri screamed as panic began to rise ,everyone flooded out the sanctuary not knowing the staff dropped his keys, Miri picked them up and quickly released the wolves, the white one and a grey one who ran for the door.

"Are you crazy!?" I yelled but she ignored me and as I followed her outside I seen Cj who grabbed the keys from Miri. "Nakati." He said and Miri smiled with a nod.

"Let's get out of here." Miri said as she grabbed me hand and ran to the exit were cops began to line up checking for injuries but the last to exit the zoo were Cj and his gang, as they passed the cops they stood before Miri.

"The wolves escaped." He said and I was shocked to see amusement in his eyes! " The Lynx and Lions too." Ray chimed.

"I hope they vanish." Miri said boldly and the gang brushed past me.

...

"The news is focused on that stunt Miri!" I hissed but Miri ignored me, I knew I wanted to investigate but non of this was helping, she responded to the Wolf, Lynx, Jackle and the Lions! Was she a hybrid?

"Miri can we talk?"

She ignored me again.

"Are you a human." She nodded

"Did you understand the animals?" she shook her head.

"They looked unhappy." She spoke before I knew it she went into my room.

"She feels like she's still trapped in a cage." I heard a voice and turned to see Ray on my laptop. "She is unhappy."

"No Shit Sherlock." I growled becoming annoyed in having to watch a girl fall apart.

"Easy boy. Cj said that she is not safe here, he sent plane tickets for her to go home."

"She's leaving?" I was a bit shocked but I knew it wouldn't last.

"By the way if your boss ask say she died, we made a fake gravestone and placed it away."

This kid is better then Sammy to see that. "Oh and she leaves tomorrow morning." With that he clicked off. I feel bad about everything now.

I went into the room to see her sitting on the windowsill and being, oh I don't know 9 stories high! It only means one thing.

"Miri uh your going home." She looked over her shoulder with a gloomy look before sighing, she crawled into the room.

"I'm going for a walk." She said before walking pass me and out the door. It seems the news of her returning home made her sad too. I went into the kitchen and began to go over note I've been taking.

"Ok, I bought Miri, she hates humans and that wolf hated humans, The boss was strangely aware of Miri's background and Ari went to investigate a kid-" it clicked and I got up to chase Miri only to find that it was too late. I see blood on the ground, very fresh and I heard the screeching tires in the distance.
