As for me, I'm about 1/4 Scott, Sadly don't know too much about that side. My Grandpap is still kickin so it may be me finding out more details.

Na just messin, I like scotch okay enough, the good stuff is simply too expensive and you can really tell apart a good Scotch from an okay one. I'm personally more of a Rye or Bourbon man.

I'm a big fan of Vodka. The only scotch I had was GlenDronach 12 years aged, I believe.

So talked to me grand dad...and we are from the Johnstone Clan. I've probibly been told at once or twice in the past. Even has a coat of arms he's going to send me...should be interesting.

Yeah this was super cool. talked to him and he Is usually a grumpy old man and never talks much about anything....and then I asked him "so grandpa...tell me about your family history"...and we talked about Nebraska, the War, what he did in the pacific in the Navy...all that fun stuff, then I got to his Scottish roots, and he went berserk! He said "my word...one of the young little pricks finally gives a Sh#t!" (Talking about me lol) and then we talked for another few hours.

Anyways I just wanted to say thanks, you restarted my interest in that....and it means a lot to me
