This amphisbaena is sprawled out on the ground, busy stargazing. If you ran up and tickled her-their belly in the midst of this she-they would be startled. While not hurt exactly, she-they disappointed that you would take advantage of her-their distraction. Still, you can try it if you feel like living dangerously.
This is not exactly a How-To drawing because while it was informed by Michael Dobrzycki's _The Art Of Drawing Dragons_, I went way off its model. But I've done multiple amphisbaenas (amphisbaenanas?), mostly on paper, since then and I'm getting into the chic. That said, I'm disappointed the heads didn't come out better. There's some of the hydra that are so adorable I want every dragon or dragonoid creature to have that head now. Well, such is practice. After going a bit nuts on a ground that's mostly impressions of color, I left the dragon flat-shaded, so that it's impossible to make look decent in a jpeg compression. I might've been better off rethinking that too.
