That was actually my first thought, but then I decided I didn't wanna perpetuate the idea that you have to wear glasses to be clever and vice versa. There was a tendency in cartoons around the time the care bears were popular first time round for the clever one of any cartoon gang to not wear glasses, so I even thought about leaving them off Clever Heart altogether... I think about these things too much, don't I? ^.^

I helped you come up with that name, didn't I? Well... I know I suggested it! ^.^

Funny how you would mention how the Care Bears were back in the day. Quite frankly, I think they "Cared" a lot more then they do now in their re-incarnations. They've also apparently ditched Grams, Hugs, and Tugs, too. Totally bogus.

Heehee, I never really watched much Care Bears in the olden days. I did see the movies when they came out, but that was it. I've seen a couple of snippets of the modern version, and it's really not as good...

Nope, nope, nope! The newer "Care Bears" lack the one important aspect that the originals were big on. That thing is THEY CARED ABOUT KIDS! The modern ones seem to play amongst themselves. This is fun and all, but the "Caring" aspect is totally lost.

Now, as a mega fan of the originals when I was little, I really liked how, if you were a little kid and needed help, some happy bears would come to your aid and make you feel better. I used to come up with stories and daydream about being visited by a Care Bear a lot when I was young.

Why is it these days so many shows and stories miss out on the idea of being there for others? It's no wonder people go crazy with anger and do stupid things. There's just no love out there anymore. Too much violence, gore, and bullying. Bah!

I think you've really hit the nail on the head there! There's no caring in cartoons any more! Cartoon characters just do their own thing! We need to get together and create a new old-style cartoon for those poor neglected modern cubs... ^.^

Yeah, Ive done the same with my own thinking cousin then was like doh.....but I never really came up with a care name. Others might label me tickle bear. I guess if I had to pick a name it might be psychedelic heart bear or grateful heart since my bear originated from my love of the grateful dead bears. My heart power would surly put those used on into a state of peace but their eyes may grow a bit big LOL.
