Thank you so much! I've been working on just getting more confident in my art, period. I work slow, but I'm learning to do it myself and try to do more creative work. Also? Keep it simple. I used to over-detail, now I just try to make it all work as a whole rather than freaking out over small details.
Once again, thank you very much for the compliment XD

This piece is epic. Actually? It's your best piece. Hands, fucking, down. I say this not because it is perfect, but for a couple of other reasons. first, This! is the first piece you have done in like 2 years that was almost all on your own. You got very gunshy about working on your own and really went through this period where you didn't trust yourself to produce competent work, to the point that you crippled yourself. what I think you see now that you didn't for a long time is how skilled and powerful an artist you can really be.
The second reason this is your best is your use of form, texture, and depth. You always pay crazy/mad attention to detail, but here you used that properly, detailing what was important and letting it go where it was less necessary. This completes a much more "real" feeling piece in the sense that it feels like you are controlling your scene, composition, and making conscientious choices about what you want to do and not do. You have left behind the childish "I'm gonna draw my character" and undertaken the mature artist's thought process of approaching a piece like a problem to solve and making choices about what you want to show.

Thank you so much XD I know I got stymied within my own self-imposed barriers. I realize that I can do a piece all on my own without thinking i need people to hold my hand through creating a work. You gave me a ton of tough love through this and it helped me grown as an artist. Thank you, hun.
