A Soulless Shift - Asriel TF by Rexequinox 5/6

"What's this feeling?" I yelled, as the shift began to claim my head and face. The fur began to grow on my neck, up and above my ears. I clenched my eyes shut as I felt two sharp points emerge from the top of my head.
"What's happening to me?"
I felt the surge once more. The surge of power. The surge that would take away all those petty cares and worries, and give me the power I need and deserve. MY POWER.
Wait, no. What am I saying? Why am I being like this- "W-why do I feel?" I said.
The change accelerated, the horns jutting out my head lurched backwards, curving around in a satanic fashion. The white fur claimed the rest of my naturally brunette hair as my ears began to extend with the fur, flopping down past my jaw and dangling downwards.
My face felt a pull forward, a calling force, ready for me to be complete as small petty memories began to lost their grasp. What was my name? Did that even matter? No... I had a name, it was all coming back to me. Everything was coming back, filling me with power.
My muzzle stretched out, covered in my white fur, as well as my razor-sharp teeth being in their place. I clenched my eyes shut as the final steps emerged. My eyes shifted back, back to their colour as my marks appeared on my face.
My ears trailed behind me as my transformation completed. Turning me back into myself. Back into the creature of infinite power! This new world would know my name!
MY NAME IS ASRIEL DREEMURR!
This power flowed through my body, power seeping from the human soul I used to have, it's not like I was using it before.
"Th-This feels... Kinda GOOD!" I yelled aloud, snapping open my eyes, looking on the physical world as my true self. I felt my power at my fingertips. I was back. I started to chuckle, louder and louder. Until that laughter bloomed into fully fledged laughter.

No..I don't want to be a monster!i just want to be myself again!*at first opportunity makes a run for it, but trips on the shoe remnants still on feet* ooof!*looks at reflection in a reflective piece of glass nearby and stares with confusion* is that...me?*puts hands on head* no don't give up I am not that creature I am a...*pauses in thought and tugs on horns experimentally* no...please no..*cradles head and starts to cry* you got this you can beat this, just remember when you were a monster growing up...I mean human growing up.
Maybe you're right...*blinks and clutches head tighter*Why are you doing this to me!?!?You're a freak and I will not. I cannot believe this is me*stares at different colored eyes in reflection and breathing begins to settle down* this is it isn't it. This really is me*lets go of head*. Damnit even my mind is starting to change.
Oh no, I need to awaken them too I guess *approaches group of humans hesitantly* h..hi. This may be a little hard for you to understand but there are some dormant monster souls within you all that need to be awoken. Hold still please *targets one at random who rapidly starts turning into a similar version of self, with a few differences here and there. The other humans quickly panic and run for the hills* Whoa You were right, they do have dormant souls inside of them. I let a bunch of them get away though...*hangs head sadly*
Goes up to one who I somehow recongize as an old friend of mine* Ryan? * the human looks back somehow knowing who I am* Jay? Is that you? *i stare for a few seconds conflicted and give a very slight involuntary nod* Jay, buddy, don't you remember who I am? I'm your best friend. You need to snap out of this.*he points to Asriel* he is just manipulating you jay, deep down I know you are a human. *i stare at the human in shock and a bunch of memories come flooding back. Looking down at my hands I clench them into fists and turn towards Asriel. In a final effort charges and jumps onto Asriel in an attempt to tackle him, yelling at the humans* RUN GET OUT OF HERE!!!
*Thinks for a moment and comes up with an idea* Oh yeah? Well what if I use my powers to change myself back to a human, and repeat the process over and over again! Then you can never reset and we will remain in this timeline for all time!*starts winding up a spell in the palm of hand paws, and when a huge amount has been built up I smile deviously* Ha ha I am amazed I didn't think of this earlier! *Throws hands against chest and at first nothing seems to happen* What the heck, I could of sworn I used enough power to...*suddenly face changes to a look of confusion, and then dread* Oh no...*looks down at chest and sees a bright light emanating from it. What is most unique is the fact that in the bright light, a red heart is seen* What the fff...*Suddenly feels an intense pain in chest that causes me to scream out in pain. Looking down at my chest I begin to see heart change color, slowly changing from a bright red to a solid white color* Stop stop stop stop! *Tries to pull at the magical light, but it remains fixed to chest, causing pain as the red colors begin to fade from heart. Falls onto the ground and writhes in pain.* Not good not good! Someone make it stop!! *continues to writhe until heart changes a complete white color, as soul becomes completely monster like.the light from the magic finally dissapates. Heart becoming invisible again. Lays on the ground unconscious for a few moments before waking up.* Wha..What the. What happened? *Sits up and rubs eyes*
