A Soulless Shift - Asriel TF by Rexequinox 1/6

I wandered through the meadow, having popped on my Tuxedo, I didn't want to risk getting it all torn and stained in the centre of town. I noticed something odd, however. In the middle of the meadow, in a patch of land left almost bare of greenery stood a single flower. A single, fully grown flower.
"Would you look at that!" I said, admiring the buttercup. I looked around a bit, searching for any other kinds. But in this english weather, it was unlikely for any to grow. "What an odd place for a Flower to grow."
It felt odd, but I saw it as a sign. Normally the 40s gathering was a bland mix of Tuxedos and scantily-clad women in dresses. Maybe this flower was the topper to my suit that would turn some heads.
I plucked the flower with a gentle snap, I almost expected it to have some tug to it, but the thing came away much easier than I thought it would.
"Huh... It's just a regular flower..." I thought aloud to myself, thinking of where to put it. In my pocket, too cliche, in my hair, too weird.
But as I stared at the flower, I was slowly drawn to it. It was almost hypnotic. I just stood looking at the flower dumbfounded. Until a sharp gaze pierced my eyes, as well as a disturbing high voice rattling out. "Don't you have anything better to do?!"
