So for FurCon (my hometown con, gotta give love back no?) I crafted up a few things this year. These are the automatic head dryers. They're the lil triangle volcano things with the con stickers.
GroggyFox donated a few recycled server fans, I drafted up a cad file, cut the pieces on a laser, and then wired em all up!
2.3A of forced air, on a lil switch so they turn off when not in use (go green!) I can dry a soaked/washed head in about a day. Drying off a sweaty suit head after a dance, 20-30min. :D
Making a 5v USB version that is more universal, and less of a screaming demon. These will be on sale soon through ArendStudios direct.
Oh, they also pack flat. 8 units and all the power supplies fit in a small carboard box :3

Yeah. I've been asked by a number of people to make Arend Merch. Kinda not as interested in making bandannas, but a travel fan is something everyone could use. A wet head after a night of dancing is what leads to funk, and the eventual death of a costume.
The HDPE plastic may be switched out to Acylic or Delrin (easier for the laser cutting), but either are hypoalergenic too. Spray n wipe the white plastic vanes with the same spray you would the inside of your head, to keep things clean :)

These were AMAZING!
So nice to see a new innovation for drying heads, they worked out extremely well and awesome on the being able to pack them up flat idea too!
