The first of what I hope are many submissions for 
poetigress's Thursday Prompt series of writing excersizes. I know, this is short, but these use to be my main characters, I could have written a small novel. However, I feel this is the nucleus of events. It's perfect, and to add anything more would be guilding the lily.

Aww, cute. Very nice little story. Who could be offended by this? Short and sweet, the length isn't important, I think the story is just perfect in its current length.
Only one little bit of critique. Numerals in prose. Would it have been too hard to write those numbers with letters? The numerals in between the words sort of a cut the flow. And I prefer to use other means to tell the measure of something, of course in the context you use them in this story you need to use exact numbers, but still...
But, in all other ways, great little piece. And the number thing is also a matter of style, and the critique is only my opinion. Great little piece, I enjoyed reading this.
