^w^ Hallo my pals. This one's another beer "review" for the beer-lovers.

Brooklyn Brewery (NY) Sorachi Ace.

A saison style brew, light and bubbly and infused with hops of the same name. I found this one... DE-light-ful. 8D

The first things you'd notice while enjoying this beer is the festive fizz of the mouthfeel--complimented by the immidiate zing of lemongrass and dry hoppy flavors. Super refreshing, just as a saison should be, and finishes with a more robust light roasted barley taste and just the tiniest hint of sweetness!

Just like I'd expect from Brooklyn (one of my fave American breweries), this is exactly what it says it is, made with great care and designed to just please whomever chooses that styling. Really braw beer. Great stuff.

As far as alcohol goes--not too bad! Just be careful consuming multiples in one sitting. 7% ABV is mid-level for beer strength but trust me... you will probably want a second one. And if you're a lightweight (like me!) that second one can tip you over pretty hard. XD Saison's are for relaxation but not that relaxing!

Cost-wise this is definitely in the upper-middle. It's possible to find six-packs of this for about $12 so it's not frou-frou and fancy, just more of a celebration and special occasional treat. Would be a stellar thing to bring to a spring potluck get-together.
