Pretty much all things in life have a downside, even when you're married to a multi-billionaire. And when that billionaire happens to be Clint DeRatry, expect a lot of downsides.
Here Clint confesses some deep, dark secrets to his beloved Charlotte, clinging to her like she is his one beacon of light in his world of darkness. The question is, though, can she still love him after learning all this?
Oh, and I suppose another question is just what are Clint's secrets? Let's just say I'm still figuring that aspect of my story out. In fact, I'm not even sure the scene above will even happen in my story, but I like imagining it. Perhaps I'll find a way to include it.
