How'd you get an UAC10 on that Uller? MW4M's version of the Uller doesn't have a duel omni slot...
I actually think that you should be able to mount everything anywhere, within a reasonable amount...
Like, for example, a Wolfhound should be compatable with any weapon, but only be able to hold only so much weight in ammo.
I know those specialty slots are there for a reason, but you, as the Pilot, should be able to use any weapon you realy wanted on the Mech...

The Wolfhound is not an OmniMech. Its weapon slots are appropriate to the type of 'Mech it is, a raider.
The Uller on the other hand IS an OmniMech, meaning weapons can be swapped out between missions in a matter of minutes and not days. There is an official configuration of the Uller (The Uller "A") that is supposed to mount a friggin' huge Gauss Rifle, with two medium lasers for back-up.
MechWarrior 4 messed with a few things to make units distinct from each other, so that a Thanatos and Mad Cat are not equals of each other (they're both 75 tons). I however accept this break away from the tabletop rules, because it gives a 'Mech much more personality.
