requested a night ago that I design a daisy-based big cat, after seeing this.

It took a bit for me to actually do it, but I did get a good bit of inspiration, and the three designs above emerged.


Furthest left is 's, middle is mine last is 's.

Anyhow, I def. don't claim this as anything original but purely for fun, haha. I tried a bit more of a toony style than normal, but I definitely will try to force myself even more out of my comfort zone soon.

The Kitties:
Note: they're all about half the size [now, and grown] that they would be as their regular species.

Eloise: 's and is a [female] liger (tiger x lion) + "orange painted" daisy
Eloise is mischievous--much like Hesper--and an instigator. She likes sunning herself, cuddling, and chuffing happily when with her friends, as well as making trouble for others. She loves getting attention and will often do things to become the center of it; however, when she doesn't get the desired attention, she can become jealous and sometimes, even withdrawn. She cheers up rather fast once her friends give her a little extra love, though!
With her lion and tiger blood, she's the strongest of the group--which is especially good for powerful hugs!

Hesper: mine and is a [female] leopon (leopard x lion) + white "moth" orchid
Hesper is a quiet and calculating cat, but she doesn't use that for anything but pranking others. She's curious beyond measure and gets into all sorts of things, and the racket she makes from accidentally (and sometimes, purposefully) breaking stuff tends to make more noise than she does. She's super smart but tends to show it in the most devious of ways, rather than by doing anything productive with it. Despite all of her pranking, though, she still has a good heart and is always there for her friends.
Having such a dark pelt means she's good at blending in with shadows--but those bright petals can be a hinderance to her sneak attacks! She can get a bit self conscious about them, but usually cheers up when her friends reassure her. She's afraid of lightening but loves the smell of rain.

Maya: 's and is a [female] jaglion (jaguar x lion) + gazania flower
Maya is a quiet individual who tends to go with her heart more than her head--meaning she leaps into situations without thinking them through well enough. That can get her into a bit of unintended trouble, especially when she gets protective and jumps right into danger with quick actions and blunt words. When she gets into dangerous situations, she "laughs in the face of danger" and can be rather cocky, trying to prove herself to others that's she's capable of doing anything she puts her mind to. That leads to unfortunate consequences, often, and she's not a good loser, so she can become upset if things don't turn out the way she wants them to. She's the perfect victim to be pranked by Eloise and Hesper, as she's easily fooled, but once she figures out the joke's on her, she can get rowdy and tussles with them to let them know she's not to be messed with--even though she kind of enjoys the excitement of it all, even if it's at her expense.
Maya dislikes being bored, but in between all of her activities of the day, she will take a moment to stop and watch the sunset or stare at stars up in high places.
