Velociraptor study.
Used Scott Hartman's skeletal reconstructions as a reference for this one. Check out his library of skeletal references; http://www.skeletaldrawing.com/theropods/
I always see Velociraptor depicted on the skinny side, so here's a more poofier/meatier rendition. Colours based on modern birds of prey. Did you also know there is evidence to suggest Velociraptor was a lone hunter rather than a pack hunter it's always depicted as in popular media? I find that pretty interesting.
Anyways I'm submitting this for now because I'm honestly sick of looking at it :3c Critique welcome and I'll likely go back and refine my brush strokes and smooth a few things out. This is my first time doing paleoart and referencing skeletons and so on, so be fair and honest c: Thanks!
