This is the ref for my species under the name Chobaryu. :3 Mostly it's an overall look at what makes the species what it is; what disqualifies them from being dragons, gryphons, or anything else.

They are an alien species I created, semi-sentient and capable of basic emotions and a bit more than primal instincts. (Chobaryu is the one exception: fully sentient.) They are flight-capable; their species are distinguished by the presence of talons or hooves. Manes, masks, and tail ornamentation vary from individual to individual.
