for those unfamiliar with this concept. These are Monster Shoes. sentient footwear one could wear or have around as a companion. Do not take the name so literally, Monster shoes are self-aware and intelligent creatures. able to talk, think and reason with anybody. their generally friendly to humanoids and enjoy being worn, depending on the shoes themselves. every monster shoe always comes in pairs, be both shoes be of one mind or siblings and come in different types of shoes and different maws as well.
For example; we see a pair of Shark mawed Trainers enjoying a good jog. a pair of punk boots being stubborn and a strange pair of snake-like boots on the prowl, searching for something or someone.
Even most shoes try to be friendly as can be to their owners. not every shoe is lucky to have kind and caring owners and are forced to live on their own, forever cold and empty inside as they flee from abusing or ignorant owners who toss them as if they were normal shoes or abuse them for one reason or another.
