Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls! For your viewing pleasure, a lost episode of the thrilling adventure serial Carolina Chase, lovingly restored using state of the art digital techniques, for the first time ever! Relive the exciting exploits of Callie Chase, crime fighter, adventuress and perpetual curse magnet from the golden age of adventure! In this episode, we find our heroine seeking out the lost temple of Bastet beneath the shifting sands of the Sahara. After escaping from her nemeses, Herr Genger, and the inconsistently accented femme-fatale Madame Arachne, Callie finds herself trapped within the temple complex, the entrance buried under several tons of rock! What fate will befall her? Tune in to find out, dear viewer!

So, obviously, it is not October, but, as promised, I'm beginning to post the adventures of Carolina Chase. I decided to take some extra time on the planning of this one, and gave Callie herself a bit of a makeover to make the character a bit more unique and play up the whole 1940s/1950s pulp adventure look, and tried to update the side characters to look more than hastily thrown together placeholders. I am pretty pleased with how they all came out. I've also tried to work in a bit more details in my quest to actually deliver full comic pages, which take a VERY LONG time, but I think is worth it in the long run.
The series is meant to invoke an old serial or pulp magazine, hence the "Previously on" feel. There isn't actually any previous part of this sequence, as this is the actual first page.
I hope you enjoy the series as much as I enjoyed making it. More updates to come as they are finished, let me know what you think of the series and of Callie's new look!
