I sure wish I could draw Darius right. Anyway. Like the animal he takes after, Darius is generally crap at fighting. But he inherited more than terrible hair structure, he was adopted into a wealthy financial clan, so instead of punching people, he likes to offer them deals. In this scene, he accidently saw a person who should be dead, which is bad, so he gets threatened by two conspirators who are panicky enough to murder him. When Darius realizes he's not the only one scared shitless, he manages to slowly regain control of the situation and doesn't only leave unmurdered, but also with a new employee. Another life saved by capitalism. Him poking at the grabby fist thing there is meant to reflect the shifting of balance, because symbolism.

Apart from the fact that I absolutely can't draw him, he's one of my favourite OCs. Darius has a layered personality, lives an interesting life and is also a huge slut to everybody in general.
