Thanks! They are really my favorite kind of art to do, but painting is more ... marketable so I've been trying to learn it as well.
Most of all, I'd love to get to carve stone again - not that I'm good at it, but it has a "feel" I like more than any other medium. Maybe someday!

I only got to do it in school for a class. I think I did 2-3 pieces. We carved soft stone by hand (no power tools!). I liked how it was physical work, repetitive in a controlled and satisfying way. In the last stages when one sands and buffs the sculpture it can get incredibly smooth and reflective. Nothing else has a finish quite like that!
