The Isles of Eidra, also known simply as the Eidra Isles, or traditionally as Leviathan's Haven, this is the area where the majority of my characters live.

The Eidra Isles are a major trade region, sitting snugly inbetween the three main continents of the world, because of this, it boasts the most diversity of sentient races. It is also the location of a large university that specializes in research of magical flora and fauna, and magical phenomenons.

Eidra is famous for being the gathering place of leviathans, sea dragons who use the deep waters as a breeding and resting ground. The bones that decorate the island are a reminder of just how large some of these dragons can be. (The largest ones are protected as natural monuments, but people are free to gather smaller bones for use in various crafts and trade as long as a fee is paid. Smaller leviathan species who have a human form are responsible for making sure no bones are illegally harvested)
