Ironically, forced perspective in page 8 makes Garuda looks a bit like one of the sage simians in these AWESOME movies...
Translation is really troublesome being my language spanish, whose gramatic structure is almost the oppose to english... Not to mention that for some reason, i keep composing most of the dialogues in the foreign language. nmot to mention that Garuda can't take the short path in saying something XD

please, keep in mind that I am not a native speaker, either. german and modern english share roots, but grammatical structure and other details can be as different as possible. I soemtimes can tell if a fellow german has written something in eglish due to those details. :)

I have been reading books and comics since I was five; in fact, I learned to read on comics back when. over 30 years ago... I might not be intellectual, but I can't live without books-to-be-read around me. :) I'll happily share my ideas with you if you want. :)

I would prefer german being the, sort fo, common language over the world; as far as I know, it has pretty much a better, solid structure, both in grammar and pronnunciation, than both english and spanish... A friend of mine is studying it, with far more results that i would get in my own time, at least for the speech part because I suck at that. Bu I shall, however, take some lessons latter... =)
On your last paragraph I could trace an "ídem"; I learned to read fromo "Ásterix" and the first word I learned to write was Superman XD
And lately am enjoying a well worth Sony Reader to explore through most than 10.000 downloaded titles, both spanish and english... I hope my sintaxis will improve somehow...

gee, I dunno. in some aspects english is simpler than german. we have three 'genders' (male, female, neutral) for words, ideas, items and many other things. what's more confusing is the multitude of dialects which can vastly differ from high german in grammar, spelling, even the meaning of words. :) oh, and the pronounciation of said dialects differ even more. XD

I learned my reading from "Maja the Honeybee" comics which were quite popular during the early 70's, drawn after an animated series which used motives from a children's book.
this skill led to me being able to read the solutions to the intelligence tests they provided before they took you to school. needless to say they caught me; I believe my mother called me off. :)

And the neutral gender is one of the reason wich I would like the language; it would help me a lot with characters like Azrael, here, who is actually genderless... As I see, dialects end having the same effect in all well extend languages; I read some comparison somewhere from american, england an australian english: such a wonder they can understand themselves between...
