Meet Silver Storm and Sheldon, the survivors of the henhouse flood. Despite being exposed to cold water while hatching under their mother leaving them near death when I found them they managed to pull through.

I am glad they pulled through! Anything from the rest of the eggs? I am still hoping they didnt drown. It has been years since I raised them, but I used to raise Wyandottes and Rhode Island Reds. I lost count of how many nights I stayed up on egg watch. So many things can go wrong.

Aww, I had a clutch of muscovy ducklings caught in a flood. A horrific scene to come upon.. Lost 7 that day, and another 7 over the next few days from shock and other issue. Only 3 made it to adulthood.

Poor things.

I'm so relieved that they survived, I was worried when you posted that picture about them and the flood. glad they are doing so well & healthy looking!
