Hi guys!
...Lets just say that I've been working...a lot. To the point where it literally takes up a lot of time for creative juices to just kind of...stop flowing. I draw a lot, but not for me. For the kids I work with. They require a LOT of attention...and correction...and other things.
ANYWAYS. Trying hard to start up again! Posting art and completing pieces. Digital is easier to do...but in the long run I don't have a ton of extra time to sit at my computer and do it. In a lot of ways, carrying a sketch pad with me and drawing traditionally is far easier than trying to cart around a laptop and drawing in adobe. The coloring is what takes forever...that in photoshop takes FAR less time.
Am I doing comic stuff? Writing stuff? Hopefully soon, we'll have to wait and see.

We're engaged! And living in a house, and have a kitten/8 month old kitty now named Titan Thunderpaws.
The kids are doing alright, have a few kids from some harder backgrounds in the program but its been going. I've been debating/looking for a better job currently. I want something that won't make me pull my hair out before summer, because the program I work for currently has been REALLY challenging over the summer.
I'm an auntie for the second time too! Have two nieces now, and my first niece and I are doing art stuff together :3 Also a reason I haven't been doing as much, been spending a lot of time with my sister, mom and nieces.

and as far as the whole challenging aspect, wasn't that one of the things that happened last time? by that i mean a vent blog (i remember one of those tings from you at one point).
regardless, good luck in trying to find a new job if you really want that.

I had a bad student at one point, but she was banned from the program so no more problems with her!
This summer was a doozy for me, the school I was placed at had a lot of problems. People quitting left and right, bosses NOT doing what they could to get the kids under control but the biggest problem I've had with the program I've been at for this last year (not the art teaching program, this is a care giving program I work at) was the fact that my boss over the summer was trying to get people to apply for the program job, and telling them that they would start at a whole dollar higher than where I was at. I had been working for 6 months there, had gotten one raise, and STILL they thought that people who hadn't been dedicated to the program were worth more than the people who were sticking with the program so it wouldn't fall apart. Does that make sense? She should have never said anything in front of me.
I haven't had any luck thus far in the job search and I can't get out of that until I have another one to make ends meet and all. I can't work another summer like I did last year, as much as I got attached to some of those kids, I don't want to put myself through that again.
Ranting aside lol, I'm trying again to get into the creative stuff that is for me versus for others.
