A commission for a close friend :3
This was probably one of the most interesting and the most fun commission to do. Also a challenge, because I decided to work on a technique for coloring silver (because a lot of people used to think Mekolai's markings were gray or white). Canyons are win <3 I'm glad he allowed me to do one x3

The title was chosen...or made up... because he is supposively protecting the forest that is located in the center of the canyon. xD And here he's about to land on the border of it. Borders=Lines... Lines+Silver = title :3 I'm so smart

I worked on this for a few weeks. I really only wanted to work for a week or two, but things happened here and there, and my friend was rather picky on places xD He also added in a background for a little more money.

After the New Year my commission prices will be going up. Mainly because I know, and everyone else that talks to me knows that I work my ass off to make these commissions look as well as they do, and how often I worry about if something looks good or not. I feel like in a way I'm getting a little ripped off, especially when I see some people getting $20 or more for just a sketch, when they almost offer the same sort of quality I do. :E I wont be increasing the prices too much though.

The pose was heavily inspired by a picture that ~J-C created a while back. Simply because my friend sent me the picture and I didnt know who it was by xD but everything IS ok, I sent JC a note and he knows <3 He's really nice and friendly, go check his stuff out

I used Photoshop CS2 as always (lovelovelove the program I'll never use another program lesser xD lol) and my wacom graphire tablet. I need a new one sooner or later :C It's starting to look a lil puny.
