I decided to do an anatomy study on the mythological creature the gryphon! It was a fun challenge figuring out how to create the wing attachment to the body. I see most artists attach the wing humerus to the scapula in the arm, but I can imagine that being troublesome every time the gryphon flaps its wings, it'd bounce the arms like crazy. So Instead I attached the wing humerus to its own scapula and the coracoid, right behind the arm scapula.

I've always thought that it was peculiar to have the wings attach to the same scapula as the arms as well... glad to see someone else thinks it's weird!!
I really like anatomy posts like this; helps to figure out exactly how a creature functions and creates a better overall understanding of how to draw them. You did a really good job!!
