Specimen 21: Creeper

A strange four legged bush creature native to the world of Minecraft. Creepers are invariably hostile to humans that actively alter the landscape though they ignore humans who stay inside the village areas and do not change the environment. Creepers "attack" by rushing a close the the target as possible and then exploding. Just prior to detonation a reddish blossom can be seen to bud and bloom just as the detonation takes place, examination of the remains shows a chemical identical to primitive gunpowder, impregnated with spores that grow into new creepers.
