A species of dragon from my fantasy world Ardoria; Gaper Dragons resemble large pterosaurs with a traditional wyvern tail with a scorpion barb. When their mouths are closed they are similar to a typical beak, when opened the upper beak splits open to the sides (There's a fish IRL that opens its mouth in a fairly similar manner. I can't remember the name, but they're what I used as a point of reference here)

Their eyes are a bright blue color, and their pupils are barely visible. Their eyes glow subtly in the dark. Despite their somewhat intimidating appearance, Gaper Wyverns are fairly docile and curious creatures, and eat mostly fruit, fish, and small birds. Especially fish.

They're clever and intelligent creatures like the rooks and dolphins of our world, but cannot talk or perform magic of any kind.
