Goodbye sisters, goodbye... (spoiler Sight/Wolf Chronicle...

(SPOILER from "The Sight" of Clement Davies David and "Spirit of the Wolves" of Dorothy Hearst).
I had to do this one...
Two great stories, that greatly affected me for the skill of the authors and the drama of the plot, and the only two books that made me shed tears of sadness... (not exactly easy to do this with me)
Both are great fantasy story with wolves for protagonsists (she-wolves actually).
And both the stories have a surprising, upsetting and dramatic ends with the protagonist being killed at the very end.
Years ago I was deeply moved by the cruel fate of Larka in "The Sight", but in some ways I accepted it, because it was a great scene of sacrifice.
There is a sequel about that book, not as good as the first one (and boring in some points), but at least it gave a follow-up for some other characters
More recently I finished the third book of Wolf Chronicles triology by Dorothy Hearst.
And that time I was more upset and angry toward the author for the misuse of drama and inserting an equally dramating end at the last pages of the book that that absolutely USELESS for a number of reasons, apart upsetting the fans.
I even wrote a journal about it (on deviantart)
This is some kind of final tribute, a final goodbye for these two corageous she-wolves: Larka and Kaala that equally paid the ultimate price, giving up their loves and their friendships, to save the lives of many....
(or in the case of Kaala... just because the author wanted a bit of our rage).
Comments and opinions are extremely welcome ^^

I do not suggest you to read Wolf Chronicles 's series, and this is painful to say.
(It is spoiler, but... go on reading because really I do not suggest reading it, it is just painful and confusing).
The first book is great, it is a writing style a bit less charming than Clement Davies David, yet more adventurous, less drama and more fascinating on the discovery of a different world and choice.
The second book is moderately good and introduce new elements and...
As I wrote the third book is terrible and ruin the whole series. It's not just the ending, but from beginning to end, the stiry just re-propose what happened earlier (basically: we good wolves needs to cooperate with humans, usually hunting together, to show the giant wolves we can manage and so the giant wolves will not kill us all). It is honestly boring, repetitive, and the author literally forgot a couple of subplots that appeared important in the previous books.
And the very last chapters of the book are totally a delusion: the villains are defeated in very illogic way (could have been killed in EVERY other moment of the story then), while the protagonist give up her life for... absolutely NOTHING, and while Larka's sacrifice made sense, Kaala make no sense in addition to the fact her own living was the purpose-of-life of a couple of important characters..
And we NEITHER look the reaction of them knowing she die !! because the book is over o,o

Yes... and neither particularly thrilled by that book either. Just... ok xD
Sorry I may be an harsh reviewer, but it is honestly rare. Generally speaking I evaluate books in "good points", "bad points" and leave the one I talk with to think a conclusive opinion.
Fell was ... good as book, but overhall not as good as a SEQUEL.
Story and plot felt a bit disconnected, not just because most of the time followed an human girl POV (leving less space for wolf POV), but also because the follow-up events of the wolves appeared a subplot, and the fantasy human story as main plot was decent but nothing of super-impressive.
If you've not read it, I still suggest it to you because it reveal the fate of the animal protagonists of The Sight.
Also you could find this one interesting: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/19875224/
But on April i will upload an updated version with more books xD
